In 2016 Justin had finished his first year of college at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater. A few weeks after returning home from competing in the Division 3 college world series he was diagnosed with Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor. Determined to overcome the awful hand he was dealt, Justin continued to live life the only way he know how, always humble and kind. Justin battled for over 3 years undergoing multiple surgeries, several rounds of chemotherapy and radiation. He did not lose his fight with cancer as the fight was never fair from the beginning. With the amazing support from family and friends Justin’s memory lives on forever.

Families Helping Families is a grass roots neighborhood organization started by a Naperville mom in 1994, with the sole focus of helping families facing homelessness in DuPage County. FHF provides apartments and supportive services to families facing homelessness while they are working to reclaim their lives.

Animals Deserving of Proper Treatment

A.D.O.P.T. is a private, “no-kill”, non-profit animal shelter located in Naperville, IL. A.D.O.P.T. provides temporary shelter and care to dogs and cats in search of their forever home.

When you adopt an animal from A.D.O.P.T., you save a life, and a space opens up which will welcome another great dog or cat and save its life. In addition, besides the obvious advantage of saving a life, you also get a chance to find a companion who is a good match for your personality and lifestyle.

Pancreatic cancer is the second most prevalent cancer of the gastrointestinal area, and about 46,000 cases are diagnosed each year in the United States. About 90 percent of pancreatic cancers develop in duct cells. The disease can be difficult to detect or diagnose early because patients often have no symptoms or have symptoms that are similar to other illnesses.
